We had this sweet little pod built for us in Northern Ireland, and we transported it over to West Donegal (in the Republic) to provide comfortable, affordable accommodation option for singles or couples who want to explore one of the most beautiful parts of the Wild Atlantic Way. It has almost an acre of private, wild ground about it (pheasants are common, red deer often seen at dawn or dusk) and isn't part of any 'cookie cutter' glamping development (like, alas, so many pods).
Stay here to explore some of the most wonderful beaches in Ireland, and one of her most majestic and beautiful landscapes. A 3km walk (or 5 minute drive) along a quiet lane will bring you to either the village (3 pubs, 2 shops, petrol) or the miles of soft golden sand and dunes at Dooey. Or sit in bed looking over the bay to the Glenveagh National Park (a great day out). 12 minutes drive to Dungloe for choice of restaurants and supermarkets.
