A fabulous and stylish modernist mill conversion by author/ TV presenter Griff Rhys Jones in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Melin is one of our most commonly booked properties (and then re-booked!) by architects and designers. The Grade II Listed mill ceased being used in the 1930s and its rescue and restoration was the subject of the BBC 'Return to A Pembrokeshire Farm' TV series.
Melin is a stylish bolthole for two with a mezzanine loft for another two. Set in a peaceful location at the end of a track, with seventy+ acres of farmland that enjoy fine sea views, and our slide and swing for the kids just along the footpath. Walk to the famous lighthouse on Ynys Meicl or hike out to Porthsychan cove, and don't forget to pop into the whale and dolphin-watching lookout.
Hike over to the whale-watching lookout and lighthouse (2.5 miles by road) or 9 minute drive (3 miles) to Abermawr beach.
Sustainability was at the core of this conservation project, and there is access to two EV chargers for those with electric cars.
Fly fishing for rainbow trout in two ponds available on site. Catch & release, arrange with estate manager after booking.
