Cró na Trá sits on the shore of a sheltered Atlantic bay with access to our private, sandy beach. This is where we take our family holidays. The cottage sits up on the slope above our smaller Mickey's Cottage (also sleeps 4) with huge sea and beach views. Five minutes drive (3km) to shops (7 days a week), and choice of three village pubs.
Spend your days fishing or crabbing, or reading in your private cove, then home to the turf fire and fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves.
There's one (Kingsize) bedroom, and a twin, both of a good size. You've got a small sandy beach immediately in front, or larger sandy coves within a five-minute walk. Smart TV with a Netflix account to keep you entertained whatever the weather! The kitchen is well equipped with a few nice extras like an air fryer and Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine.
You can arrange for private paddle-board tuition directly from our own shoreline in front of the cottage (with SurfsUp Ireland), or surf lessons and private sauna rental on Dooey beach (walkable).
